I am an innovative multimedia expert. I have designed video games. I have planned and designed many acclaimed user interfaces. I have produced and created award-winning media, including film, video, print, web, and more. I have written for print and web magazines. I have taught multimedia courses to corporations and in college. I have designed and managed construction of a large scale corporate art installation. Overall, I constantly look for challenges that will feed my creativity, improve my existing skills, and teach me things I've never even considered.

Apart from my career as a multimedia developer, I am a community-elected volunteer member of the inaugural Maemo Community Council (a five-person group that advocates and facilitates communication between the maemo.org community and Nokia Corporation). As a council member, I take part in monthly task “Sprints” (facilitated by periodic SCRUM meetings via IRC) and offer my services in many areas of Maemo community management, including website design, UI/UX guidance for Nokia Internet Tablets, bug reporting, and general community maintenance. I am the only professional designer who is currently in the council, the rest of the members being software programmers. Because of this, both the council and Nokia look to me for guidance in design matters pertaining to the community.

I consider myself at the leading edge of technology and I know how to get things done – and, if I don't, I'm a quick study (or I can find someone who knows what to do). I understand the value of a good team. I love to collaborate. I recognize those who do good work. I understand the end-user's perspective. I appreciate the beauty in simplicity.
