About Me:
Love is life, and joy is its sweetness. Whether joy is always garnishing what I do, I endeavor to only do what I love. Money is generally where the rubber meets the road especially for Americans' "convictions" and I've taken the plunge, leaving behind the prospects of another lucrative, "steady" office job for...everything else. What can I say? My hippie friends won me over, and the
actor/mathematician/comedian/pianist/singer/programmer/artist/social-butterfly is taking sloppy, topsy-turvy flight.
So, I am a kid who was heavily involved in theatre, piano, math, tutoring, and other community/social leadership/volunteering, who grew into a neurotic computer scientist yuppie who accepted his first job offer and relegated theatre, math, and music to secondary, tertiary, and even lower roles for three years inhaling and exhaling a small fortune, who is now in the midst of blossoming into a struggling young adult/artist carefully but exclusively pursuing his most meaningful desires, no longer seduced into thinking money has ever been or can ever be anything more than the empty means to full ends. As my dad's always said, "Money's not life, but it's sort of like oxygen." Which I suppose means too much makes you light-headed...
My favorite albums are Vespertine and Felt Mountain; my favorite movies are Gattaca and Vertigo; my favorite books are Phantastes and Paradise Lost.
